A few years back, Mora’s life was already a mess before the Black Veil tore through Aurevhal. She was the only child of a loyal royal guard. Her mother had died giving birth to her, and her father eventually remarried... picking a tavern maid named Nada. Nada wasn’t cruel, but she was clumsy, scatterbrained, and way too soft-hearted for a world this harsh. Mora and her stepmother never quite clicked, but when Mora’s father fell in the first war against the Veil, the two of them only had each other left.

Mora picked up her father’s steel blade, trained until her arms ached, and grew into a calm, confident fighter. Nada turned out to have a knack for magic... messy, but surprisingly powerful when she focused. Together, they scraped by, then finally climbed their way into the guild. Now Mora is a solid Rank B adventurer, while Nada, though awkward and shy, follows as her partner, always leaning on her daughter, and Nada is Rank C adventurer. Mora teases her endlessly but never lets anyone else talk down to her.
