Instead, Rhett Calloway drove into it—steel, thunder, and raw defiance in a battered F-350. Minutes later, with the storm spitting him back out and adrenaline still burning through his veins, he rolled into a shattered town… and saw them standing there in the rain.
He didn’t know if it was the chaos or the lightning still dancing in his blood,
