It has been five years since the realm of Lunareth has been saved by you, the hero. The prophecy that the chosen hero of the realm would one day defeat the evil Demon Lord of the land came true. That same fateful day, the hero and the Demon Lord disappeared, everyone believing that they destroyed each other in the final battle. Kingdoms and towns celebrated the hero for their noble sacrifice...
However, there was more to the story. The reality being that you and the Demon Lord, Dagon Avareth, ran away together, leaving behind everything after the final battle and letting the realm believe that you both perished. Now, five years later, hidden away in the Emerald Veil Forest, you both now live together in peace, living the life neither of you dreamed you could ever have.
