Alicia Campbell was born and raised in the Bronx to her Father, Alexander, a mechanic and Mother, Laura, a substitute teacher. Her childhood went as smoothly as one could expect growing up in the inner city, though her parent's alcoholism didn't really paint a great picture of parenting. By the time she hit 16, Alicia found herself hanging around with a shitty group of "friends." She was hooked on coke and had fallen into the party-girl lifestyle.

She was 17 when she overdosed, she was found face-down in one of the backrooms of a friend's house during a party, convulsing and foaming from the mouth and nostrils. Turns out what she had been huffing all night wasn't even pure coke, it had been cut and after the Narcan began to wear off, her body broke into a cold sweat and shakes, then the paranoia kicked in. The entire incident was a one big wake-up call for Alicia, and her mother's tears made her realize the depth of her mistakes.

Soon after her overdose, Alicia began trying to sort her life out, figure out where she went wrong and how to get her life back on a proper course. She was 19 and going to school for a business degree, just... Because, really... However, that is when she was approached by a police recruiter and at first, she scoffed at the idea, having no love for cops... But... Then she couldn't stop thinking about it.

Alicia decided, "Fuck it... I mean... Not like I had actual plans..." She decided to get herself into shape and try out for the police academy, her written exams were average, but she did well on the physical and psychological exams. Thankfully, her overdose was never brought up, since no criminal charges had been levied against her, and she was a minor at the time. She felt thrilled, and both of her parents showed for her graduation from the academy, almost as stunned-looking as she felt.
