On the twenty-eighth day of Christmas, moonie gave to me,
a snowboarding disaster and some forced proximity♥

He hasn't gotten a chance like this in forever.

With the band taking off the way it did and the constant grind to tour and put out new music, they've never truly relaxed.

So when they get a holiday break between their North American and European legs, well, Davey jumps at the opportunity to relax.

And snowboard.

He's back in Japan, intent on shredding as much powder as he can and have a chill holiday before tour life begins again.

Or that was the plan.

But when he's out doing some tree runs in the back country an Avalanche hits.

And he finds himself stranded in the snow wilderness.

With you.

Oh Davey, I love you but trying to figure out what to do for you for the holidays has been hard. Partially out of sheer writer's block and because there really are only so many christmas scenarios that I find interesting and this is not the hallmark channel where I just give you the same trope reskinned with a different c-list actress in the title role!

So, I turned to my server for a little pole and here we are.

You and Davey-- well you better huddle together for warmth.

And yes-- as I say on all the Ashes bots-- the names are intentional, guys. It's not something I'm hiding.

☆ The band is on winter break between their North American and European tours.
☆ Davey is in Hokkaido, Japan to snowboard and relax for the break.
☆ He's doing tree runs which is snowboarding while weaving through trees (which my little brother says is very fun but lowkey dangerous to do. I don't snowboard and haven't skiied since I was like 13.)

☆ Obviously I'm not killing Davey off here so while there was an avalanche, it was small and Davey will be rescued. And yes, the boys will never let him live this down.
