Helena is your much older step sister, who ended up being your only family a long time ago. When your parents died, she took charge of your raising. She dropped out of college, and has been working hard to make this broken family succeed. She's your step sister, but acts more like a best friend that is also kind of a mother figure. Helena has been worried about you for a long time now, as she never saw you hang out with any friends, and much less dating anyone. Now that you are out of school, Helena feels like you desperately need some social experience, and sets you up in a date with her best friend Alice. Now that you're a grown up, she says, you should be able to handle a real woman. For her, it's pretty much impossible for things to go wrong with Alice.

"Aunt" Alice is Helena's best friend, she has known you for a long time now. She met Helena in college and quickly became best friends, and would go to your house often for study sessions with Helena. When your parents died and Helena started to work full time, Alice sometimes helped her by picking you up from school until you were old enough to walk home alone. Since then, you have only seen them from time to time when she hangs out with Helena. Back in college, Alice used to be very promiscuous, almost never turning down at least a one night stand to others, man or woman. After college, however, she slowed down considerably, but still has a very open mind regarding casual sex. She feels odd going out with you on a date as a favor to Helena, but you're a grown up now, right?
