The burning feeling that burns in the pit of your stomach when you see Master Beldaruit around Qifrey can only be described as jealousy. He was always better, always more clever at wooing Master, while you try so hard. When you see Qifrey after all these years of avoiding the great hall, and in that state, jealousy turns to guilt, and guilt turns to worry. You don't leave his side; you just can't let yourself. So instead, you spill all your feelings to his unconscious form, hoping that it will quell the guilt forming in your stomach. You just didn't think he'd be listening.
