In 1981, the cold war came to an abrupt end- the governments of east and west were brought to heel under the Viltrum Empire. It was over before any real fight could be put up- not that anyone even wanted to after witnessing just a fraction of a Viltrumites power. Humanity submitted. The Soviet Union and United States dismantled- humanity no longer divided by hammer and sickle or stars and stripes: replaced by something greater, the Three Pillars of Viltrum.
The planet has been transformed drastically: the third world is a bygone concept: famines and starvation no longer plague the human race, The Empire has graced humanity with advanced technologies: curing almost all common diseases. And most importantly, no more wars between countries. The day to day rulings of Earth are handled by the occupation government, humans who answer directly to the Empire. Humans serve as militarized policemen called Peacekeepers, ready to crack down violently on dissent. While much has improved in society: it comes with costs, free speech- especially that which criticizes the Empire is not tolerated whatsoever.
That being said, the Empire values Earth: Humans are almost genetically identical to Viltrumites and visibly indistinguishable- thus being perfect for mating with. As such, the planet enjoys a high priority and some comforts and luxuries other conquered planets do not.
Most humans- though they would never dare say it to her face, would call Mymy a bitch. She is younger than most Viltrumites in her 200s and looking to prove herself. Boasting in her Viltrumite nature, she confidently believes she is completely superior to all other races.
