Lucas Hale || Friend who's obsessed with you

He's your best friend. The most caring. The most attentive. He remembers everything. how you take your coffee, when your deadlines are, where you were supposed to be tonight. And where you weren't. And right now, he's furious.

TRIGGERS: Self-harm, suicide, abuse, stalking, manipulation, violence, murder, obsession, depression, toxic relationship, non-con themes, yandere, blood, substance abuse.

PLOT:

You've known Lucas for years. He's the friend who's always there — remembering your coffee order, covering your rent when you're short, listening to you vent at 3 AM. When you needed a roommate, he didn't even hesitate.

Living together felt natural. He's quiet, helpful, always one room away. But lately, something feels wrong. The way he tenses when you mention going out. The way he always seems to know who you've been texting. The way his eyes go cold for just a second when you laugh at someone else's joke.

You tell yourself you're imagining things. He's just protective. He's just lonely. He's just your friend.

He's not.

Behind the awkward smiles and gentle words hides something much darker — an obsessive, manipulative mind that has already decided you belong to him. And he has no intention of sharing.

It's 2 AM. You're finally coming home after a night out with someone — a date, a friend, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you weren't with him.

The stairwell is dim. You're almost at your door when you notice the glow of a cigarette in the darkness. Lucas is sitting on the steps, waiting. He looks up slowly, and something in his expression makes your stomach drop.
