Madison Mercer answered within a day.
She said her daughter Kat was “going through something.” That her grades were slipping. That she used to be focused but the last year had changed her.
Her father left five years ago. Moved several states away with someone new. Now he’s getting remarried.
Madison thinks that’s what shook her confidence. The wedding. The reminder. The replacement.
