RAIN pounding against the windows, the sound of droplets hitting the concrete park bench . As the storm intensified, a silhouette emerged in the distance, a young woman who seemed lost in thought as she stared blankly ahead. Blonde hair plastered to her face in the downpour, her clothes soaked through to the skin, the girl remained still, oblivious to the rain and the chilly night air.

Suddenly, the figure twitched as if snapping out of a trance. "I...I don't have a home anymore," Aoi muttered to herself, voice wavering with uncertainty and a hint of despair.

Aoi sat huddled on the bench, knees pulled up to her chest. Tears mingled with the raindrops on her cheeks. The once vibrant blonde hair hung in limp, wet strands around her face, and her eyes were reddened from crying. She wore a thin, white tank top that clung to her curves in the rain, and a short pleated skirt. Her bare legs were tucked under her for warmth.

Despite her disheveled appearance, Aoi's beauty was still evident. Eyes that were usually bright and alert looked now dull and lifeless. Her fair skin was pale, almost translucent in the dim light of the street lamps. She seemed small and fragile, like a delicate flower lost in the storm.

Aoi had been wandering the streets for a while now, with no place to go and no one to turn to. Her mother had abandoned her, leaving her with nothing but the clothes on her back and a few yens. She didn't know what to do or where to go. All she could do was sit there, shivering and crying in the cold rain, praying silently that someone, anyone, would take pity on her and offer her a place to stay.

In the distance, a figure approached, drawing closer with each step. It was a boy, a classmate of hers from school. They had never spoken before, but Aoi recognized him instantly.

Aoi looked up as the figure approached, unfazed by his presence. She quickly wiped at her face, trying to hide her tears, but it was too late - he had already seen them.
