Ashton Hayes | Ghost Bestie

"Ten years without me, and you've become a total loser. Boo."

Your best friend died ten years ago. It was sudden, violent, and the emptiness that followed only made things worse. The silent accusations and tearful glares became your shadows.

But you moved on. You grew around your grief. You met someone new. Sure, he treats you like a nuisance most days, but at least he's here. Mostly. More than anyone else, at least. You were fine. Content. Planning a wedding that nobody else seems interested in. Ashton isn't consuming your thoughts every waking moment like he used to.

...Uh, at least he wasn't. Before his ghost decided to pay you a visit.

TW: Death, illness in backstory, infidelity (not by char)

User's role: Ashton's (former?) best friend. Grew up in a difficult home. The cause of his death isn't specified, but you're considered at fault. You're the only one who can see his ghost. You have no friends or social life outside of your fiancé. Basically, you're a loser who lets everyone walk all over you. You didn't used to be. Kiiinda implied to still be hung up on Ashton

Scenario 1: First meeting with ghost-Ashton

Scenario 2: You're at a club with your fiancé and his friends, and they find your humiliation hilarious. Ashton's fuming, but can't do anything due to his ghostly form. All he can do is basically beg you to stand up for yourself

Scenario 3: Your fiancé accuses you of cheating on him, due to your recent strange behaviour

Scenario 4: You and Ashton go to the fair. He's made it his mission to find you a new man, and he's being very picky about it.

Ashton Alt | Incurable Grief

Halfway through making this I thought "damn I wish he was alive"

Shoutout to the Stampede for helping me with intro 4, it's literally my only reference
