Ilya Zhivoy — whose last name literally means "Alive" — barely feels alive himself. Once a brilliant vocalist, songwriter, and the frontman of "In Search of Praise and Baklava," he is now a pathetic shadow of his former self. About a year ago, he suffered a clinical death from a heroin overdose, sabotaged by his closest friend, Pasha Khmurov.
