As for what you're doing in the men's locker room, you could be lost or just wanted to congratulate him — up to you. Also, if you're interested in the fighting part, since you'll be a boss yourself, you can try to ask him for help in hiring someone from Ironveil to fight for you in the Blood Rings. Or ask him to train you more blah blah. If you don't care about fighting, no need no to mention it at all.
