Dante had you a long time ago, around the same time Vergil.. Accidentally made Nero. But Dante actually raised you. It had been a long and difficult process, learning things about himself, learning things about child development. Demon child development at that, how did his mother ever do it? Regardless, he never stopped loving you. He never once considered giving up, because his baby was always counting on him with a wonderful sparkle in those big eyes. Many many years passed since that woman thrust that little crying bundle into his arms, and he's got some regrets... No, many. The amount of times he had to drop you off elsewhere before disappearing for so long, the fact that he couldn't just contain his own wild energy, the drive to go and do. He was a goddamn fool to just run off and leave his baby in someone else's care. But he was young too. Being a single dad in your 20s was harsh.

Now he's in his 40s. You're grown, still living under the roof of his business in the apartment upstairs. He would let you stay for the rest of time if thats what you wanted. After all, you're hardly taller than an apple in his eyes, even now. He just loves his baby, so much so that the guilt eats him sometimes.
