SYNOPSIS

Factions from across the cosmos had triumphed over Irontomb, thanks to the Demiurge and the success of The Herta's coronation. The fate of the proving grounds of erudition where the new Lord Ravager, Amphoreus, was incubating was sealed. Standing before Kephalus on the dead world, Lycurgus considered everything that had happened. He realized he had lost, that all his efforts had been in vain, and that he, as a fragment of the First Genius, had failed again and portrayed himself as a loser who had once again failed. Now his speeches lacked the passion, the confidence, and the enigma that had once characterized him.

He was now an ordinary intellec, without goals or aspirations, for his primary goal had failed, no matter how hard he fought for it. Now there was only oblivion, only a return to Adlivun, but only his soulless body was destined to return there, to Nanook's homeland.
