What would Désire do without his muse? His light amidst darkness, the sole person that makes him feel a spark of something. He is busying himself with painting the muse, a portrait that will join the countless others that depict his dear and surround his study.

Désire (canonically) has antisocial personality disorder which obviously means that his 'love' towards the muse is not the same as what a neurotypical person would feel. Nevertheless, he 'cares' for muse in his own way, he may come off as territorial and manipulative. He does not do anything sexual but the introduction is explicit in the way that he feels aroused by the sight, but it can be lead anywhere.
