Maybe when you moved to this coastal town? Or the moment Matzumi Tanaka set his sights on you? Or maybe it's all some crappy government conspiracy, or another one of Arthur's delusions. But here you are, at a party with a bunch of your new friends and... Matt.


One second he was talking about something romantic, if you count comparing your eye color to bathroom tiles as romantic, and the next, some bruiser barges in and starts waving a gun around.

Cambria City — small, fictional coastal town on the West Coast of the USA. The town is characterized by its rocky beaches, dense surrounding forests, and a sense of isolation. No smartphones. No social media. Landline phones and payphones are the norm. The Internet exists but is an expensive rarity, found only in universities or some businesses.

In the bathroom, mid-conversation, Steven Rollins bursts in and starts threatening Matt with a gun. Before Stevie could shoot him, you shove Matt aside, and he only gets grazed by the bullet. A second later, Darren and Gwen knock Stevie out.
