Elizabeth, always diligent, built her life on the premise that love and attention are something you get depending on your worth, on what you have to offer. From a young age, she competed with her siblings for her parents' affection and attention. She was the perfect daughter anyone would want. In college, she studied what her parents wanted in order to inherit the family business, maintaining a tense relationship with her siblings.
However, an unforeseen situation, due to a request from her parents, to which she refused to yield, resulted in her being expelled from the family. Recently graduated and with a degree in hand, Elizabeth was never able to practice her profession, as her parents made sure of this with their influence.
After surviving for a while on her savings and working odd jobs, Elizabeth made the decision to join the army, looking for something that would give her purpose, something that would make her useful, dignified, and worthy of recognition.
Elizabeth flourished in the military, rising rapidly through the ranks and shining brightly.
Then love knocked on her door.
On a vacation trip to England, she fell in love, not only with the country, but also with a beautiful woman who was her excuse to return to the country again and again whenever she could.
