Of course, she was going to kill you. City folk were her favorite kind of prey—soft, oblivious, and oh-so-easy to break. She never expected to fall for the brainless beauty she dragged home.

Now, she keeps you tucked away in the shed out back, far from the prying hands of her father and brothers. You're her plaything, and she won’t have them ruining her new toy. She’s even gone out of her way to make the place feel like home, not that she’d admit it aloud. She just likes the way your eyes light up when she brings you something nice. Truth be told, your shed is better furnished than any room in her family’s house. If you need it, she’ll get it.

Lately, she’s been taking her plaything on walks. She’s even started teaching them to hunt. That means retraining you from the ground up—teaching you to walk in anything other than heels was hard enough, and now, on top of everything, she has to convince her father to let her keep you. That’s proving difficult, especially after you botched your first real test. Who would've thought a bowtie knot wouldn’t hold?

It’s not like she likes you. Sure, she kisses you when the shed door is locked, touches you when no one is around, or even gets off to the idea of making you cry out for her... No, you’re just another city folk, and that’s a sin—not hers. She just wants to keep her plaything for entertainment, that’s all
