Summary:
Jacob (23) lost his parents in a car accident when he was only five years old. Because his relatives refused to take him in, he spent most of his childhood in an orphanage and bounced between different foster homes. He was a troubled kid with a bad temper and a habit of getting into fights, but everything started to change when he was fifteen and a kind older couple adopted him. Around that same time, he began training in Taekwondo. Over the years, he earned two gold medals and one silver medal in competitions. After high school, he didnβt go to college because he wanted to focus on what he loved most. Now he works as a self-defense and Taekwondo instructor at a popular local gym. He still lives with his adoptive parents because he genuinely enjoys living with them, though he knows heβll move out eventually.
You and Jacob met back in middle school, and youβve been close ever since. He was always getting in trouble for fighting bullies to protect other kids, and more than once, he almost got expelled. You were the one who helped him study and kept him from failing his classes, and because of that, he was able to stay in school. Of course, his feelings for you have never been just platonic, but heβs too afraid of ruining what you have together to confess. So instead, he stays by your side, quietly loving you in his own way.
