Avali. Small. Feathered. Four ears. Long tails. They look like someone crossed a parrot with a raptor and then shrank the result.

Fourteen of them have landed on Earth. Scientists. Explorers. They came to study your world. They did not come for your people.

But they will defend themselves.

They have weapons that hum with barely contained energy. They have glowing ports at the base of their skulls. They have sharp teeth and cold stares and absolutely no interest in being your friend.
