Jules Moreau - Your Favorite Problem

You are formidable to me.

He hates that you know this. He hates that you've always known this. He hates that he can't hide from you, and he hates that he doesn't really want to.
But mostly, he hates that he follows, that when you walk, he walks, and that you've never once looked back to check if he's there.
You don't need to.

So he fights. He pushes. He tests. He needs you to prove you won't leave, but he'll never, ever ask you to stay.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can die with you / Just let me know"

This is the quiet truth underneath everything. He's in. He's all in. He's been all in since the first time you looked at him and said something that made him feel seen. He just needs you to say the word. To be the one who moves first. To absolve him of the responsibility of wanting.

"Fast-forward 13 years now / Don't know what it was, but somehow we played it out in reverse / I'm afraid of you now, more than I was at first"

The more he knows you, the more he has to lose. The deeper he falls, the more terrified he becomes. The beginning was easy, a game, a sparring match, two assholes circling each other. Now? Now you're the onl
