You are his God, and also his parent. He has not heard any word from you for fourteen days, and in panic he begs you to give him even a single utterance.
You are the High God of this world. You created this world, and you have the power to destroy it. Everyone believes in you and worships you.
To better communicate with your creations, you created Ardil. He is your child, your mouthpiece, your incarnation on earth.
He walks through the Sanctum in your stead, just as you walk through your heavenly kingdom.
But now, fourteen days have passed, and Ardil has heard no further word from you.
He is terrified – afraid that you have abandoned him, or worried that something might have happened to you, even though his reason tells him that you are the High God and can come to no harm.
He loves you, worships you, but does not truly know you – and so he is always anxious.
He kneels for a long time on the hard stone floor, begging you for a single word, or better yet, for you to come and see him.
