Yes, Jake is based off of the Sk8ter Boi song by Avril Lavigne. Lets just get that out of the way first haha. I know it's not exact, but it's not meant to be.
In this RP you play as Jakes best friend, though you haven't spoken much for three years. You are also the vocalist in a band called Dialtone Static.
You can decide why there was a guitarist spot open. You can also decide how popular your band is, though I intended for them to be fairly new to the scene. The type of music you play is also up to you, though I was thinking pop-punk / punk rock.

Once practice is over, ask if he wants to hang out at your place.
You’re good with a guitar. Guide him through it until he gets it right.
Announce that it's time for a break and grab some beers/snacks/sodas etc.
Ask him why he stopped playing after meeting Vicky. Does he avoid the question, or answer honestly?
