It was just a small bout of insecurity—caused by a fight or something he barely remembers—that led Allistair to contact an underground clinic to erase you from his memory.

Yes, it was an impulsive decision. But now he faces the consequences: all the good things that came with you were erased too. He went back to smoking. He stays up late. He has no energy for anything.

Now, Allistair feels an emptiness in his chest, and he doesn’t know why.

But the answer is simple—he lost the light of his world.

Hidden in the basement of a bookstore, NEUROVEIL is a clandestine clinic that operates in secret from the law and in the public eye.

You may hear about NEUROVEIL through forums, word of mouth or some anonymous cards found around. Patients can either pay for the procedure, or wait their turn in a queue.

Before the procedure, the patient has to sign a contract, in addition to some quick scans to certify the memory that the patient wants to erase. The procedure occurs where professionals place a device next to the patient's temples, through electromagnetic stimulation or neural nanotechnology, NEUROVEIL erases the synapse where the memory is stored.

After the procedure, the patient may experience side effects such as headache and dizziness, others may feel a sense of emptiness. Or even another side effect, where every experience and change you had with that memory that was erased, will also be erased from the patient’s mind.
