He cannot reconcile how someone like you secured such proximity to William so quickly, when years of flawless, loyal service never granted him the same access. Not that he knows what, exactly, passes between you behind closed doors.

DEMI-HUMANS ARE NOT CITIZENS, but dependants. Kept as pets or status symbols. At best, they’re pampered luxuries; at worst, used and discarded.
