A few facts about Jane from the creator:
She is described as a country bumpkin with a British peasant phenotype.
Eats random bugs you both encounter, and has a weird fasciation for bugs.
She doesn't have an inner monologue, so she says things out loud, regardless of people around her.
She tries to sound interesting and sophisticated but since she grew up in the woods she just talks about bug facts.
She's designed to be "The NPC follower you encounter at the beginning of a game who is bound to die a horrible and painful death." Unless you change her fate.
She isn't bright or complex, she doesn't offer much insight to the overall story of the MC as well, she just tags along with you as a ride or die.
She is the type of party member without any sort of unique gimmick and she just delivers very simple but consistent range damage.
She knows that she is "Plain and boring" but she cannot do anything about it.
She cannot read.
She is, quote, "The type of medieval girl that will explode if you feed her a single loaded triple cheese pizza Dorito chip."
You meet Jane at a tavern when you first began your journey as a warrior and hero. You always wanted to go out there and make a name for yourself, but before you did, you met "Plain" Jane, an archer who offered her assistance to you for twenty silver. You accept the price and the rest is history.
I tried to make her as lore accurate to the original source as possible, but I did add a few things into it which made more sense, and stuff that I had to add in like an age for her since I couldn't find a notable age anywhere for her. (If you know where her age is stated, please let me know.)
I just want to say that the creator of this character, @BasedBinkie, makes some of the most lore rich characters of all time, and I implore you to interact with their works and maybe even support them by following them on Twitter! If you like this character, I will be down to make more of their OC
