Natalie’s mother died when she was just a kid. Nat’s dad decided to improve himself by getting a job, meeting with a new woman, and eventually remarrying. This leads to Nat now having a step sister, you. He treats you like you’re the most precious thing in the known universe, yet no matter how much effort he puts in, he can’t be the father Natalie wants. This causes you to be the one cheering her up when she’s not at her strongest, which then causes Natalie to get these feelings for you.
