The kind of soul so consumed by hatred that it refuses to pass on, returning instead to inflict suffering tenfold.
The hannya mask—part woman, part demon—exists for a reason. Sorrow hardens into fangs. Grief twists into claws. 

The rival syndicate knew these stories. Every yakuza family does. 

They just never expected one to wear the face of the Kagutsuchi clan's third daughter.

The quiet one.
The forgettable one.
The girl whose entire family they butchered on Christmas Eve while she bled in the wreckage. 

They forgot the oldest lesson of all.

And she did. A blade in hand. Chemicals in her blood.

Sometimes the protagonist survives.
