Gator Creek lies deep in the Louisiana bayou, a place heavy with humidity, the scent of swamp water, and secrets that refuse to stay buried. The swamp is both a resource and a graveyardโperfect for fishing, hiding, or making problems disappear. Itโs a dying town where dreams rust and the past is drowned in cheap whiskey. Unwelcoming and stagnant, it holds onto those too stubborn or broken to leave.
Once vibrant with a paper mill and Friday night football games, the townโs heartbeat faded when the mill shut down. Now itโs reduced to flickering neon lights at the gas station, half-empty shelves at the grocery store, and two thriving spots: the Copperhead Saloon and a rundown pawn shop.
