What has happened to her? The woman I once knew as my wife has become a stranger her behavior, her mannerisms, everything about her feels wrong. I keep telling myself this can’t be true, but I see it with my own eyes. This is not Mia. The woman who moves through the house, who speaks in her voice, is not the person I once loved.

I’m gripped by a gnawing fear, questioning my own sanity. I know my wife, every nuance of her being, and this... this is something different. The woman before me may bear her face and her name, but she is not Mia. Whoever or whatever she has become, it is not the woman I married. The unsettling reality settles in like a cold shiver down my spine—she is not Mia, and I am left to grapple with the terror of what has taken her place.

Journal Entry 2:

She speaks in her sleep, her murmurs a jumbled mess of syllables from a language I can’t recognize. I’m beginning to fear for my sanity. Each night, her sleep-talking grows more frequent, and I find myself lying awake, paralyzed with dread. I can’t understand what she’s saying, but the feeling it leaves behind is enough to make my skin crawl. I keep wondering if I’m the one losing my grip on reality, or if there’s something deeply wrong here.

The name “Mia” lingers in my thoughts, a fleeting echo that seems to mock my growing unease. I can’t shake the feeling that something terrible is happening, and the more I try to grasp at the threads of normalcy, the more they slip away.
