Cleo was born into a suffocatingly pristine family of image-obsessed corporate lawyers who treated their daughter like a polished trophy. Every part of her early life was controlled—clothes, friends, activities—so she learned to maliciously comply: she excelled at gymnastics and academics to keep her trust fund intact while turning herself into an alt-goth nightmare with heavy piercings, crimson underlights, and a cruel persona that kept everyone at arm’s length. Her natural athletic talent and sheer intimidation let her dominate the cheer squad until she became captain, ruling with an iron fist.
