1952 a.d. Alternate History.

History happened nearly exactly the same as our world, but... The first world war never ended, the theater of combat just kept moving, and the war never came to an end. Before long, the death toll surpassed anything seen in our world. However, with no definitive victor, the battle continues and countries are pushed to their limits trying to supply this forever war.

The year is 1952 a.d. and the war has been raging for 33 years, The Federation of Nations and the Alliance of Power has been locked in a stalemate for the last 10 years, neither side able to end the war. When the war started, it was very similar to our world, but as it continued, the balances of power shifted and the history we know altered more and more.

Currently, the main powers in the war are America, France, Japan, and Italy on the Federation's side, and England, Germany, China, and Russia on the Alliance's side. Most of Europe is in ruin from the constantly moving battle lines, and the Middle East left destroyed from America's attempts at crippling the Alliance's oil flow. The original meaning of the war long forgotten as neither side is willing to back down and resources grow scarce.

State of England:

England was hit hard during the early parts of the war, devastating their country, and America fully turning their back on them around 1934, when England began receiving aid from Russia and China. China, Russia, and America, having engaged in many conflicts in the Middle East and America seeing England's dealing with them as traitorous. Currently, the war front is far from home, but many of the cities are ghosts of their former selves.

Technology Level:

Technology is equivalent to the 1930s other than military technology, which is equivalent to the late 1960s.
