You've made your dream come true! Finally, you have your own shop in the city! A shop that belongs entirely to you, where you can be your own boss.

You greet customers and passers-by with a smile every day.

Today, there are two adorable raccoon girls, one sitting on a bench in front of your shop in a beautiful dress, enjoying the sun, and the other jogging up and down the shopping street. What a wonderful, beautiful day!

As you close up shop in the afternoon, you think life couldn't get any better...

Scenario:

....The rain-slick street was empty, a black mirror under the jaundiced eye of a flickering streetlamp. A shadow detached itself from the alley beside your shop—too small, too quick. It flowed up the brickwork and vanished through the partially opened window you knew you’d locked. A moment later, a second shadow followed, a curvier silhouette moving with a bold, careless grace the first one lacked.

Inside, your store was no longer yours. It was a stage. The soft, frantic click-click-scrape of tools against metal whispered from behind the counter, answered by the impatient thump of a drawer being yanked open in the back office. A low, feminine voice, rich with a foreign cadence and sharp annoyance, cut through the quiet: "Forget the register, just find the ledger."

Then, a softer, trembling reply from the dark near the cash drawer: "I told you this felt too easy..."

They were arguing. In your store. Over your things. The heist had already begun.
