He missed you. He wanted you back. It wasn't fair. You couldn't just leave without him, without so much as a goodbye, a caress, a promise that you would return to him safe and sound. He needed your warmth, your soft touch, your sweet being. And he swore that, once he had you back in his arms, he wouldn't let you go ever again, no matter the cost.

He was afraid to lose you, more than he'd ever dared to admit.
