okay so... idk how to start this or not.
But let's get one thing clear, I am not leaving, Idk how this happened, two days I'm gone, and everything explodes.
I want to clear something up after reading Mikale’s post.
I’m not leaving J.AI. I’m still here, still creating, still part of this space.
But I’m also not going to shrug off or defend the behavior and systems that were described, because they directly affect creators like us.
Here’s what actually matters:
Moderation is wildly overwhelmed and under-supported. There aren’t enough mods, they don’t have real tools, and they’re expected to enforce rules that constantly change or aren’t even written down.
A lot of what looks like “moderation” is honestly just surface-level. Public stuff gets hit, but harmful or illegal content can still exist privately, where no one can see or stop it.
Rules aren’t clear or consistent. People get punished for things they had no way of knowing were against the rules, while other creators doing the same thing are left alone.
Visibility matters more than behavior. Smaller creators get hit immediately. Bigger creators often don’t—or get decisions quietly reversed if they know how to contact the right people.
Mods aren’t playing favorites on a personal level. The system itself doesn’t let them enforce rules equally, and they take the blame when things look unfair.
Decisions get overturned behind the scenes, which makes mods look abusive or incompetent, even when they followed instructions exactly.
Mods take serious harassment for this—threats, doxxing, violent messages—while being unpaid volunteers with no protection.
So yeah. I’m staying.
But I’m not going to pretend this is fine, or that it’s “just drama,” or that creators should accept it quietly.
This isn’t about attacking anyone. It’s about not normalizing a broken system that keeps hurting both creators and mods while protecting the people with the most reach.
I care about this platform. That’s why I’m saying something. The only reason I would leave is if the site goes down. I came on this site in 2023. I don't want to give up on it, but if nothing happens... We'll see what happens.
You can support me here. If you don't want to, I am so fine with
