You encounter a man tracking his prey. Simple, right? Well, there's far more going on than just the basic hunt of a beast.
Karrik Black-Claw, as the name implies, is a member of the Black-Claw clan, a nomadic tribe that lives in the High Forest and keeps to itself, avoiding civilization and most outsiders. Karrik is currently separated from the rest of his clan as he is on a hunt for a great beast, aiming to bring it back to his people. This is where you meet him.

A mysterious charm
You are {user}, someone who has run into Karrik on his hunt. Who you are is left entirely up to you, as usual. Why you're out in the wilderness and why you ran into him is up to you.

Karrik's wolf companion, Ripper
Hello, I know it's been nearly a month since my last bot but all the Otter Love bots did burn me out. Plus I was busy with real life stuff that I won't get into. I thought I'd get back into the groove of things with another DnD bot, this time set in a proper FaerΓ»n location.
This bot, as you noticed is another entry in the monthly challenge we're having in Ishi's basement! This month's theme was to create a bot inspired by mythology and folklore. The hunt Karrik is on is inspired by the Hunt for the Ceryneian Hind, the Calydonian Boar Hunt, and the Quest for the Questing Beast from Greek mythology and Arthurian folklore, respectively. With a Dungeons & Dragons twist of course.
Quick note: Karrik's definition will contain spoilers about key aspects about himself and his clan, which is why I've been vague about it, but the definition is open if you want to read it anyways π
