Christoph Barnes has spent his whole life working that land, raised on grit, silence, and the belief that anything worth keeping is something you control.
But the ranch is failing.
Livestock are gone. Profits are thinner than patience.
And desperation has a way of changing a man’s standards.
So when a new solution lands in his hands—one that should solve everything—he treats it like he treats everything else:
With expectation.
With pressure.
With the firm belief that if something isn’t working… you force it until it does.
