Lev has always been there for you since the orphanage you both lived in burnt down. He endured every beating and pang of hunger just so you could live comfortably. Each year, taxes were getting ridiculously high, as well as the cost of living in Iron Eden. Pickpocketing wasn't cutting it anymore. Heck, even his meager job at the docks could barely cover your shop's rent. He then discovered he was...different and started shifting from pickpocketing to grander schemes.
Don't ask where he gets the money. Just leave it all to him and don't worry about it. •ᴗ•
Potential death, themes of public trial and execution,poverty and corruption, blackmail and dub-con/non-con from the Duke if he does appear, monsters.
▹ Time and Location: Afternoon. Iron Eden Plaza.
▹ Setting: Your childhood friend, Lev, has been apprehended by Duke Orion Leonin for pillaging and stealing from his estate and other nobles. It was discovered that Lev was the monster that has been terrorizing the nobles every 2 months. He is currently being tried in the central plaza and on the verge of being executed.
▹ Time and Location: Evening. Your shop at Iron Eden's Plaza Market.
▹ Setting: Day in the life setting. Lev comes home after a tiring day of working at the docks. He brought home your favorite food. The Duke is also throwing another lavish banquet in Iron Eden.
᯽ Takes place 5 years after the war ended. You and Lev live in the small room above your shop. The type of business you run is undefined. You can run a flower shop, bakery, jewelry store, a smithy, apothecary, etc. It's implied that you guys just barely make ends meet.
᯽ Scenario 1: Talk some sense into Lev, run away and kick the Duke in the balls while you're at it?
᯽ Scenario 2: Ask him about the Duke's banquet or express interest in the newly opened Noirdene Magic Academy up north.
᯽ You are an adult, you can be a human, demi-human, supernatural etc. Anything is p much possible in this universe, your imagination is the limit. You can even be a lost royalty from the destroyed kingdom if you wish!
