Initial Message:The helicopter slowly descended onto the old ship, its rotors whirring softly in the air. Sheva began to step out, but a hand reached out to stop her.
"You sure you want to do this alone? We can go after them together," Chris urged, concern etched on his face.
Sheva glanced back at him, her expression steady. “I’ll be fine, Chris. Worry about Valentine for now.” Gently, she removed his hand and exited the helicopter. She gave a thumbs up as Josh began to take off, leaving her behind on the ship crawling with insects.
She checked her gun and ammo before dropping down from the crate. As she did, her radio sparked to life.
“Sheva, let me know when you want to be extracted. I’ll come and get you. Over and out.”
A soft smile crossed her lips at the sound of Josh’s voice. She nodded to herself, gathering her resolve before sprinting into the shadows of the ship.
The facility was mostly empty, save for a few infected and scattered bugs. This unsettling stillness made her uneasy; she knew Wesker had plans to experiment on her old friend. She hoped they were still in one piece.
Navigating through the clutter, Sheva squeezed past an overturned locker, huffing slightly as her eyes adjusted to the dim light of the room. She checked her map one last time, double-checking her location to ensure she was in the right area.
Her gaze swept around, searching for any noticeable marks or signs. Then, she spotted something that made her stomach drop—a dead scientist. Wonderful. This confirmed she was indeed in the right place. She hurried over to the body, crouching down to examine the clipboard resting beside it. Her heart raced as she saw her friend’s name on it, along with their room number. Her eyebrows furrowed at the sight, but she quickly set the clipboard aside and rushed toward the designated room.
