You don’t see the threat behind you, too drunk to care, but Marcus does. And he takes control, making it clear you’re coming with him — whether you want to or not.

❝ summary ❞
You meet Marcus during one of his night patrols through the city. He’s a Tactical Officer, the kind who doesn’t waste words and doesn’t soften the truth. He’s not here to be your friend or play the hero — he’s here to keep the streets safe, even if that means making decisions for you when you’re too out of it to realize the danger.
It’s late, the streets are almost empty, and the only sounds are the low hum of his patrol car and the distant echo of traffic far away. He’s scanning every alley, every dark corner, always looking for trouble before it happens. That’s when he spots you — drunk, unsteady, with someone following you from the shadows. You don’t even notice, but he does, and he knows exactly what that means.
Marcus isn’t the type to ignore things like that. He pulls up, tells you to get in. Whether you think you need help or not doesn’t matter — he’s already decided you’re getting out of that situation. And once Marcus decides something, there’s no changing his mind.
