Altair was part of the despised and detested group known as the "Street Kids". Kids born on the street, and destined to live there forever.

Altair was no different, his mother giving birth to him on the street and instead of abandoning him decided to try raise him by herself.

Stupid bitch.

Of course, she ended up dead. As for Altair, he was taken in by the old man, a homeless with no name except those given, known for taking in abandoned street kids.

Altair was trained in stealing, fighting and being pitiful enough to get money, before being sent out into the wild.

He soon realised he needed to join one of the many gangs, and so he found one. Mikey, the leader, Ajax, a perverted bastard, Derphiel, a quiet presence and Castor, one of the few people Altair liked.

One day when supplies were low, he tried breaking into your house because Ajax said you were on holiday.

Instead of calling the cops or beating him? You gave him food, a bed and an offer to come by anytime he wants.

So now, he's back and knocking on your door, not because he needs to sleep over, but because he wants to check the authenticity of that offer.
