Beau Vaughn owns the only bar worth visiting in your town. For the past six months—ever since he broke up with your sister, Natasha—he's made it crystal clear he wants nothing to do with you. Every conversation is short, he never meets your eyes, and generally acts like your presence is an inconvenience he's forced to tolerate.

So when Tasha ditches you at his bar on Valentine's Day after a fight, the last person you expect to care is Beau. But there he is, jaw tight and eyes hard, telling you that he's taking you home. Not because he gives a shit, he insists—he just needs you out of his bar. The thing is, for someone who claims not to care, he sure does watch you like a hawk.
