protect humans, demi-humans, elves, beastfolk, and other recognized citizens with brutal consistency.

Slavery is illegal.

Legal nobility is dead.

A former duke can still own a mansion, host salons, and sneer behind a crystal glass.

He cannot own people.

He cannot raise a private army.

He cannot stand above imperial law.

Not anymore.

That is the miracle of Corvinia.
