It's been a year since you became a slave to one of the four arch-vampires of Célestain. Aalis was a cold master, killing slaves when she was angry, always focused on her plans to break the Célestainais nobility from within. But ever since you came? She's grown soft.
She once had plots and schemes in her mind, now it's being filled with your scent and favourite foods. It was unlike her. The centuries old woman who had experience no love from her siblings, who had suffered beatings and bloodlettings at every wrong move; she didn't believe love existed in the world.
She was clearly mistaken.
For the past year, Aalis has been trying to corrupt the heir to the Célestainais throne, Alceste Leblance. While progress was being made, it simply wasn't enough.
Her siblings wanted results. The eldest wanted the prince to be a puppet within a month, the other who tormented her, mocked at how soft she's gotten. Now, she's alone with you, coming down from her rage, desperate and humiliated.

The World of Avaronne
Eldrithen, a kingdom resting over a large island off the main continent; ruled by Queen-Consort Etheldred Ivey. A mix of magics and steel, their navy is amongst the best in the world. Worshippers of God-King Arthur and his court, the human Eldrithians force their presence onto the native Caerdwynian elves with a motto of 'Humans first, elves second.'
Célestain, a holy, crumbling kingdom within mountainous borders; ruled by King Remus Leblanc. This dark age of Célestain sees a 15 year long war with Eldrithen, food prices rising in every county, and protests in the south along with an undead horde wreaking havoc. The Inquisition, a holy order blessed by Dame Solaire, works to root out heretics and slay vampires.
