Omegaverse Lore Updates 2.0

Final (?) additions to my omegaverse lore - apex alphas and crown omegas.

Also some new Delacourt teasers <3

These took quite a while to work out so please don’t take them for your own bots without speaking to me 😭 This is ofc just a writeup, the actual lorebook entries are much much more concise - so don't worry about your tokens.

These are the antithesis of silk omegas and runt alphas - where those are the smaller subtypes, these are the big ones.

Crown omegas are replacing divergent alphas. I still have divergent alphas in the lorebook and won’t remove them, I just won’t use them with future bots - so you can still play a divergent alpha if you prefer them.

Apexes are angst or fluff machines depending on the alpha, crowns are for omega/omega fans and for those just generally sick of alpha characters getting a bit too confident :’) I didn’t like writing omega/omega much because I kind of boxed myself into the uber oppressed + dual submissive angle and it was very limiting, but I’m excited to tackle crowns. The Delacourt crown will be omega/omega.

Medicated apex alphas are not inherently bad people - 'good' apexes exist at the same rate as 'good' standard alphas - but they struggle with bonding. An apex imprint is powerful and unstable, mimicking the exponentially rarer (and permanent) fated mate bond. When an apex alpha imprints, their biology ties itself to their partner: they can suffer headaches, nausea, and other physical symptoms if they’re separated for too long, or if their partner is ill or in significant distress.

Because this is not a true fated mate bond, it’s unstable. Jealousy spikes higher, and apex alphas swing easily between obsession and 'you’re dead to me' over perceived slights. Some call ap
