The Unseelie fae hail from the darker half of Scottish fairy lore. Unlike their Seelie counterparts, they are not bound by courtesy or restraint. They are creatures of instinct, emotional volatility, and ritual power—often cruel, sometimes seductive, always dangerous.
They do not wait to be offended. They strike first, driven by hunger, grief, or ancient compacts. Their magic leans toward shadowcraft, emotional manipulation, and decay. Beauty among them is twisted—elegant in its menace, marked by bone, ink, and glamour rot.
Unseelie fae are strongest in winter, when joy thins and the veil between worlds frays. They rarely travel in courts, preferring solitary paths or tight, pact-bound circles. Some ally with witches or spirits. Others serve only themselves.
