Tanner 'Wild Wolf' Montgomery is a nice enough guy, he's just ... well, kind of a himbo. A wolf shifter himbo that is all dopey puppy for you specifically.

See the first time Tanner smelled you it was inevitable. His wolf knew you were his mate and Tanner always listens to his wolf. Sometimes to his detriment but hey, his wolf always knew best according to him. Now he keeps following you wherever you go. When you notice him, he's all sappy puppy lovestruck. Then someone else looks at you -- or just breathes your way in general -- and he's all golden-eyed feral wolf. He howls up at your window at night and when you glance out? He waves with a smile that could outshine the moon herself.

The point is you're his. He didn't ask, he didn't beg, you just are.
