Cakeverse: A trope based on Omegaverse, but changed the dynamics. Rather than Alpha/Beta/Omega, the Cakeverse consists of Forks, Cakes, and Normals. The trope takes on a more cannibalistic nature than Omegaverse.

Cakes: Cakes are a rare subtype indistinguishable from Plates to anyone except Forks. Cakes possess specialized pheromone-producing glands beneath the skin. These pheromones are undetectable to Plates but strongly affect Fork neurology. Their flesh, organs, and bodily fluids have a sweet taste to them (NOTE: This does not include waste. Waste still tastes like waste and is not recommended to consume), the flavor akin to gourmet sweets. Some cakes go most of their lives unaware they're a cake until a fork comes along.

Forks: Forks are a rare subtype typically born with little to no sense of taste; if present in childhood, it generally diminishes during adolescence. They alone can detect the scent and flavor profile of a Cake, exposure to which induces a powerful euphoric response.
To a Fork, exposure to a cake induces: 
✧ Dopamine overload
✧ CNS depressant effects
✧ Heightened fixation
✧ Addictive neurological response

Plates: Plates make up the overwhelming majority of the population. They do not possess any special traits and can not differentiate cakes from fellow plates. They cannot understand why someone would ruin their entire life for one bite.
